Do maggiore appunto!
Hello and welcome to my website!
Today I would like to share with you a classic of trumpet literature, it’s in fact the famous method written by James Stamp!
I especially want to share with you the exercise number 3 of his book, which will allow us to gradually expand our range!
What do you need to know before starting?
First of all you will notice that this is an exercise based entirely on the C major scale.
In fact, although the starting note is always different, the tonality remains the same throughout the exercise. C major of course!
Furthermore, something to know is that this exercise could also be played very slowly, almost as if it is a breathing exercise.
If you think you can play the exercise faster that’s fine, as long as each note is clearly audible and well defined!
See you soon on the second part of this play along!
